(The WWF logo slowly comes across the bottom of the screen as a voice says the following.)

“The World Wrestling Federation For Over 50 The Revolutionary Force In Sports Entertainment”
(This is followed by a montage of various wrestlers talking about how they are going to win The Royal Rumble and become The New Undisputed WWF Champion. A Virtual whose who in the WWF. This is followed by The WWF and The Royal Rumble logo and the year 1993. The voice of Gorilla Monsoon is heard saying the following.)

Gorilla Monson: Welcome To Sacramento, California!

(A camera begins panning the arena showing various fans young and old.)

Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome To The Arco arena jam packed!… welcome to The Royal Rumble!.

(Monsoon finally comes into view alongside Bobby “The Brain” Heenan)

Gorilla Monsoon: Hello everyone… I’m Gorilla Monson coming to you live from the Arco arena (Turns and faces Heenan)

Gorilla Monsoon: Everyone’s waiting Brain For the 30 man over the top rope Royal Rumble match this year the stakes are higher than usual.

Bobby Heenan: That’s right ape boy… this year the winner will not be getting an opportunity to wrestle for the WWF title but they will actually become WWF champion. I have my favorites but I’m not going to tell you.

Gorilla: (Sighs) I can’t wait let’s get things going right now take it away Fink!.

(Howard Finkle comes into view standing in the center of the ring.)

Howard Finkle: Ladies and gentleman the following match is scheduled for one fall and will determine entry points in The Royal Rumble match. The winner will enter at the number 28 spot where as the loser will enter the Rumble at number 3. Introducing first from Tocula, Mexico he weighs in at 234lbs Tito Santana!!!

(Tito Santana’s music hits and he makes his way out to overwhelming cheers form the capacity crowd. He runs down the aisle slapping hands with several of the fans. He enters the ring and quickly yells out “Arriba” removes his shirt and awaits the arrival of Jushin Thunder Liger .)

Gorilla: Tito looks great Brain he’s in the best shape I’ve seen him in in a very long time.

Bobby Heenan: He needs to stay in shape Gorilla so he can avoid INS agents.

Gorilla: Give me a break he’s legal and everyone knows it.

Bobby Heenan: Not according to my people.

Gorilla: And who would your people be?

Bobby Heenan: That’s none of your business.

Gorilla Monson: You’re a fountain of misinformation you know that? If anyone should be deported it’s you.

Bobby Heenan: Shut up! and go have another banana you oversized ape.

Gorilla: Why I ought to.

(Gorilla doesn’t say anything else as they head back to the Fink.)

Howard Finkle: And his opponent being accompanied by his manager Big Daddy Tees from Hiroshima. Japan he weighs in at 210lbs Jushin “Thunder” Liger

(The crowd instantly boos as “Ikari no Jushin” hits and Liger makes his way out dressed in his black and gold ring attire. Big Daddy Tees is right at his side staring a hole through Santana. Liger pays no attention to the fans as he basically completes his entrance and waits for the bell Tees takes his place at ringside.)

Gorilla Monson: This should be a match for the ages but that sneak and a snake Big Daddy Tees should be sent to the back.

Bobby Heenan: The man’s a genius don’t believe him? Ask him he’s a man after my own heart.

Gorilla Monson: It figures all of you crooks, swindlers and cheats stick together.

(Liger and Santana begin circling one another Santana places Liger in a headlock but Liger manages to power out of it and executes a back suplex. He goes for a cover attempt early but Santana kicks out right at two.)

Gorilla Monson: You aren’t going to get Tito that easily.

(Liger backs Santana into the corner and executes some knife edge chops and follows it up with a palm strike. The ref backs Liger out of the corner and Santana falls over the middle rope as the ref is distracted giving Liger a warning Big Daddy Tees sneaks in a couple of cheap shots that have some force behind them. Santana falls to the ground and Liger again attempts a pinning combination. 1, 2 Santana kicks out at two and a half. Liger attempts a fisherman buster but Santana counters into a roll up. 1, 2 no Liger kicks out. Santana gets some momentum going but Big Daddy Tees pulls his foot causing him to trip. Liger than applies a reverse chinlock. The ref checks on Santana to see if he wants to quit Santana says no and appears to be fading the ref checks is arm dropping it once, twice but as he goes for the third time Santana begins to power out. He slams Liger back into the corner and begins nailing ten punches the crowd counts along with him 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 (pause) 10. Liger falls out of the corner and appears to be stunned. Santana gives the signal for the figure four leg lock and attempts it but Liger manages to kick him off sending him hard into the corner. He rolls Santana up for another near fall but Tito again kicks out at two and a half. Liger’s body language indicates frustration. Liger than distracts the ref by faining a knee injury. As the ref is distracted Tees grabs Santana and slams him hard into the ring post. He then tosses Santana back into the ring and Liger attempts another cover which Santana barely kicks out of. )

Gorilla Monson: Get that good for nothing (beep) out of there!!!

Bobby Heenan: Relax… Relax or you’ll have a stroke.

(Liger sets up for a german suplex but Santana blocks it and applies a sleeper hold. Liger appears to be fading but with the assistance of Big Daddy Tees manages to get to the ropes to break the hold. Santana gets fired up and nails a series of rights and lefts. He connects with a flying forearm and goes for the cover but it’s too close to the ropes and Tees places Liger’s foot on the bottom rope quickly pointing it out to the ref. Santana goes after Tees who begs off and says he hasn’t done anything. Santana walks right into a kick to the side of the head from Liger. Who rolls Santana back into the ring. Liger sets up for the Liger bomb but again Santana blocks it and takes Liger down he begins working the legs and again sets up for the figure four. He locks it in this time but Tees gets on the apron and begins distracting the ref. The ref for whatever reason pays attention to Tees instead of the attempted submission fall. Meanwhile Liger spits Asian mist in Santana’s eyes blinding him. Liger connects with a Crash Thunder Buster (CTB) followed up by a brain buster followed up by the Liger bomb into a pinning combination the ref counts 1 2 3. Liger is victorious. Tees enters the ring and begins celebrating Liger’s victory. )

Gorilla Monson: This is a travesty of Justice if there ever was one.

Howard Finkel: Ladies and gentleman the winner of this match and entering the Royal Rumble at the number 28 position Jushin “Thunder” Liger!!!

(Liger and Tees celebrate as the crowd boos to add insult to injury Liger kicks Santana under the bottom rope and out to the floor. The two head to the back.)

Winner Via Pinfall: Jushin “Thunder” Liger.

Gorilla Monson: This next match features a lot of bad blood between two men who although they are meeting for the first time in the WWF seem to really despise one another. We’re talking about that crazed, demented lunatic Terry Funk and Mr. USA Tony Atlas this all started when for no particular reason Funk attacked Atlas take a look at these video highlights.

Bobby Heenan: Atlas brought this all on himself he should have stayed away and not stuck his nose in Terry Funk’s business.

(Video highlights air of Funk attacking and brawling with Atlas, attacking Hardbody Harrison in the gym and nearly crippling Hacksaw Jim Duggan. We are then taken backstage where Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by with Tony Atlas. )

Mean Gene: Hello everyone… I’m here with Mr. USA Tony Atlas. Tony you have vowed that you will avenge what happened to your good friend Hardbody Harrison.

Tony Atlas: That’s right Gene Terry Funk and Big Daddy Tees are going to pay for what they’ve done. I’m going to eliminate Terry Funk from The Royal Rumble and go on to prevent Big Daddy Tees from getting his grimy hands on the WWF championship. I wish I could talk longer but I got to go later Gene.

Mean Gene: Thanks for your time Tony and good luck out there. Back to you Gorilla.

Howard Finkel: Ladies and gentleman this following contest is scheduled for one fall the loser is completely out of The Royal Rumble match and the winner will get to pick from available spots. Introducing first from Roanoke, Virginia, weighing in at 250lbs “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas.

(“Living in America hits and the crowd cheers as Tony Atlas makes his way out carrying the American flag. He slaps hands with several of the fans and cracks a smile. He makes his way down the aisle and steps into the ring. He poses and waves the flag as the crowd cheers. He then gives the flag to the ring attendant and awaits the bell.)

Gorilla: Tony’s never looked in better shape.

Bobby Heenan: That’s true but he doesn’t know what he’s up against in Terry Funk, the man is dangerous, he’s unbalanced and he wants to be champion come hell or high water.

Howard Finkle: And his opponent he is accompanied by Big Daddy Tees from the Double Cross Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. He weighs in at 247lbs Terry Funk!!!

(The crowd boos as “Man With a Harmonica” hits. Terry Funk makes his way out along with Big Daddy Tees. Funk seems to be in an angry mood as he begins yelling and screaming at fans and snatching and ripping signs. Tees makes a throat slashing motion toward Atlas as he eyes him with intensity. Funk gets in Atlas’ face and motions that he plans on winning the title. Atlas responds by nailing Funk with a series of punches followed up with a headbut. Funk staggers and falls to the floor. The bell sounds and Atlas picks Funk up and throws him over the top rope press slam style. Fortunately for Funk he’s caught by Big Daddy Tees who helps Funk regain his barrings and calls for “time out.” he doesn’t get it as the ref begins counting Funk. Atlas comes outside of the ring and rams the heads of Tees and Funk together. )

Gorilla Monson: Oh… double noggin knocker. Been a while since we’ve seen one of those.

Bobby Heenan: Shut up ape boy… that was totally uncalled for Tees was just doing his job as a manager.

(Atlas picks Funk up and drops him throat first across the guard rail as the crowd cheers. The crowd begins chanting “Tony” as Atlas picks Funk up and tosses him back into the ring. Atlas is fired up and connects with a powerful closeline sending Funk spinning in the air. He follows up with a spine buster and attempts a cover 1, 2 but Funk somehow manages to get his shoulder up. Atlas power slams Funk and attempts to follow up with a running splash but Funk puts his knees up. Funk rolls Atlas up and gets a two count. He then climbs on top of Atlas and nails a punching combination nailing Atlas with rights and lefts. He begins choking Atlas over the middle rope as the ref places a five count on him. With the ref distracted trying to get Funk to back off Tees comes up and continues choking Atlas over the rope ending it up decking Atlas with a stiff punch to the jaw. Atlas falls down and Funk goes for a cover he barely gets a 1 count before Atlas kicks out.)

Gorilla: Kick out with authority there.

(Funk begins raking Atlas’ back and gets a warning from the ref. He pokes Atlas in the eye and gets another warning. Funk nails Atlas with a double axe handle knocking Atlas back into the corner. He begins choking him with his boot and again the ref warns Funk. Funk finally breaks.)

Gorilla: Come on ref he should be disqualified.

Bobby Heenan: It’s only cheating if you get caught. Funk had a five count and took advantage of it.

(Funk follows up with a DDT after nailing Atlas with a low blow which the ref didn’t catch. He attempts a cover and gets a two count. Funk then applies a chin lock trying to ware Atlas down. Funk places his feet on the ropes to try and gain leverage. The crowd again begins a chant of “Tony” Atlas in spite of Funk’s bending of the rules manages to fight out of the hold and nails a Samoan drop. He follows up with a falling headbutt and once more goes for the cover 1 2 Funk manages to barely escape the pin fall attempt. Atlas looks a bit frustrated he attempts a Boston crap but Funk rolls out to the floor before he can fully get it in. Funk tries to escape up the ramp but Atlas catches him and throws him back into the ring. Atlas looks fired up and angry. He grabs Funk and attempts to press slam him but Funk again pokes Atlas in the eye as Atlas is stunned Funk nails him with a boot shot sending him through the ropes and to the outside. Atlas appears to be hurt as the ref forces Funk back. As the ref is distracted with Funk Big Daddy Tees puts the boots to Atlas he power bombs Atlas on the floor and rolls him back into the ring. )

Bobby Heenan: What an asset that man is.

Gorilla: He’s a no good scoundrel just like you.

(Funk attempts a cover but Atlas barely escapes. Frustrated Funk goes to the top rope and attempts a fist drop. But Atlas manages to move and Funk hits nothing but canvas. Funk holds his fist in pain as Atlas connects with a spear. He begins punching Funk on the ground and lifts him up. Funk’s face is a crimson mask at this point as Atlas attempts a bear hug. But once more Funk pokes him in the eye. Funk then attempts an inside cradle trying to grab the ropes for leverage but Atlas reverses into a pinning combination of his own. He barely gets two. Atlas again nails Funk with a punching and head butt combination but Funk ends up on the apron. Atlas attempts to suplex Funk back into the ring but Big Daddy Tees grabs a hold of Atlas’ foot trips him and holds onto it unseen by the ref the ref counts 1 2 3. Funk is declared the winner even though he couldn’t be more out of it. Tees and Funk get out of dodge and head toward the back with an angry Tony Atlas giving chase. )

Gorilla: Highway robbery.

Bobby Heenan: Brilliant move on the part of Big Daddy Tees. It’s only cheating if you get caught.

Howard Finkle: Ladies and gentleman your winner Terry Funk!!.

Gorilla: Give a big assist to Big Daddy Tees.

(The crowd boos as “Man With The Harmonica” Blares throughout the arena Funk and Tees are long gone and Atlas is out of the rumble.)

Winner: Terry Funk Via Pinfall.

Gorilla: We understand that our broadcast colleague Sean Mooney is standing by with the Hulkster take it away Sean.

(We are transported to the locker room where as Gorilla stated Sean Mooney is set to interview Hulk Hogan. Hogan appears to be flexing his muscles as his manager Jimmy Hart is standing along side of him.)

Sean Mooney: Hello everyone I’m Sean Mooney standing along side me is a man who needs no introduction the legendary, “The Immoral” Hulk Hogan and his manager The “Mouth Of The South” Jimmy Hart. Hulk I understand you have something important that you want to say to all of your Hulkamaniacs.

(Hogan begins speaking in a slightly unusual tone very uncharacteristic.)

Hulk Hogan: As a matter of fact Mooney you’re damn right I have something import to say and it goes like this. To all my Hulkamanics who have supported me since the beginning and have had my back… screw you I don’t need you anymore. You see thanks to you gullible suckers, I’m a multi-millionaire and have the financial freedom to pretty much do whatever the hell I want whenever I want including but not limited to the ability to do nothing at all. I know you’ll all continue to support me because you’re too damn stupid not to. I’m also sure I’ll probably come back at some point to bleed this company dry of all it’s financial resources and you morons will still cheer me as though this moment right here and now never took place. So I’m officially withdrawing from The Royal Rumble match I don’t need another Royal Rumble victory and I could have the WWF title any time I want it. So whatcha gonna do WWF when Hulk Hogan your golden goose, your cash cow abandons you?

Jimmy Hart: I give this place a month at the most and that’s being generous. Hollywood here we come.

(Hogan storms off with Jimmy Hart laughing hysterically and following behind him.)

Sean Mooney: Shocking… completely shocking I never expected those words to come out of Hulk Hogan’s mouth. Back to you Gorilla (looks like he’s going to cry.)

Gorilla: I don’t believe this.

Bobby Heenan: I do… I’ve been warning you humanoids about this for years. Hogan is a no good, selfish, piece of garbage though I must admit it doesn’t hurt to say I told you so… I told you so. Sounds good doesn’t it?

Gorilla: Anyway, let’s get back to the ring anything to take my mind off of what just happened.

(We had back to the ring where Howard Finkle is again standing prepared to announce the participates in the next match.)

Howard Finkle: Ladies and gentleman the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the coveted number 30 spot in the Royal Rumble match. The loser will be forced to enter at the number 1 position and be at a distinct disadvantage. Introducing first from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania he weighs in at 240lbs Raven!!!

(The opening riff “Hate To Feel” echoes througout the arena as Raven slowly walks out on the ramp with his arms spread. He then stretches his arm to the direction the ring and screams, before slowly walking to the ring. He gets on the apron, where he spreads his hands and screams again, then he gets in the ring and is prepared for the match. Raven receives a mixed reaction with some cheers but quite a few boos.)

Howard Finkle: And his opponent accompanied by the “first lady” of The World Wrestling Federation Randy “Macho Man” Savage!!!!.

(“Pomp and Circumstance” plays as Randy Savage steps out from behind the curtain to a thunderous round of cheers. He walks slowly down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans. He slides in the ring as he removes his hat, handing it to Miss Elizabeth.)

Gorilla: I’m really looking forward to this one Elizabeth is sure looking lovely this evening.

Bobby Heenan:
Knock it off you’re a married man… now granted your wife is a ape but she’s still your wife have some respect.

Gorilla: You know I ought to slap you silly.

Bobby Heenan: Try it and I’ll have you beaten up and promptly sued as well. I have some very powerful friends don’t screw with me Monsoon.

(The Bell sounds and the match is underway. Savage and Raven circle each other and Savage points at Raven and begins jaw jacking with him. The two men tie up in the center of the ring and Savage gets the better of the exchange and places Raven into a side headlock. Raven easily powers out of it and connects with a German suplex. He then applies a front face lock which Savage counters into a reverse chin lock. Raven gets up and drives his head into Savage’s mouth causing Savage to bit his tongue. Savage’s mouth appears to be bleeding as the ref checks on him and see if he wants to continue. Savage says yes and goes on the attack nailing Raven with a double axe handle to the back. Savage staggers back into the corner and Savage climbs up and nails the old ten punch routine the crowd counts along with him 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 (pause) Savage looks at Elizabeth and out toward the coward as though seeking their approval he gets it and connects with the 10th punch. Raven oddly doesn’t seem effected by it to the point that most wrestler’s typically would he responds by nailing Savage with a reverse atomic drop causing him to kneel over in pain. Raven follows up with a knee lift into a bulldog. He attempts a cover 1 2 no Savage kicks out at 2 and 1/2 . The crowd cheers and chants for Savage with some cheering for Raven.)

Gorilla: This crowd is pretty split down the middle in this one Brain.

Bobby Heenan: This Raven is tough he took the best Savage had and is still here.

(Raven attempts an ankle lock but Savage kicks him off and sends him through the ropes. Raven begins harassing Elizabeth on the outside like he’s making a pass at her. Savage manages to get his bearings and follows Raven outside of the ring nailing him with a knee lift from behind. Raven falls into the barricade and Savage climbs to the top rope and connects with a double axe handle down across the back of Raven. Savage rolls Raven back into the ring and attempts a cover 1 2 no Raven barely gets the shoulder up. Savage looks frustrated and again climbs to the top rope and stalks Raven he prepares to deliver another double axe handle but Raven catches him with a knee to the stomach. Savage falls to the ground and Raven attempts to cover him with his feet on the ropes he gets to two before the ref catches him and kicks his feet off of the rope. Raven begins arguing with the ref and walks into a small package attempt by Savage 1 2 as the hand is coming down for 3 Raven reverses and the ref begins counting Savage 1 2 kick out at two and a half. Raven again argues with the ref as Savage connects with a running knee lift sending Raven directly into the ref in the corner. )

Gorilla: The referee is down and appears to be out.

Bobby Heenan: Let the games begin.

(Savage gestures to Elizabeth to get him a chair and she complies. Savage goes to hit Raven with the chair but Raven kicks him in the gut and slams the chair over Savage’s back. Savage winces in pain as Raven opens up the chair and connects with a drop toe hold sending Savage face first into the chair. Savages’ face is now a crimson mask. Raven picks Savage up and easily connects with The Even flow DDT he slides the chair out of the ring and goes for the cover unaware that the ref is still down and out. Raven than walks over to the unconscious ref and attempts to revive him by slapping him in the face. The ref finally comes to in time for Savage to roll up Raven with a handful of jeans the ref begins counting 1 2 no Raven barely kicks out in spite of Savage having some added leverage. )

Gorilla: Savage appears to be getting frustrated here.

(Savage curses at the ref and threatens him with physical violence however the ref angrily reminds Savage that he (the ref) is calling the shots by pointing to his referee shirt and Savage backs off. As Savage turns around he is met with a lariat courtesy of Raven. Raven follows it up with a Saito Suplex he picks Savage up and power bombs him following that up by attempting a cover 1 2 no Elizabeth places Savage’ foot on the bottom rope. The ref sees it and breaks the cover. Raven heads outside of the ring and makes threatening gestures toward Elizabeth. Macho Man finally runs out after him and Raven shoves Elizabeth into Savage who catches her. As Savage is distracted making sure Elizabeth is safe, Raven nails Savage from behind and sends him head first into the ring post. He begins slamming Savages’ head into the ring steps as well. Raven lets out a loud scream as he rolls Savage back into the ring.)

Gorilla: What a dastardly human begin this Raven is.

Bobby Heenan: I said it before and I’ll say it again a woman’s place is in the home.

(Raven goes for the cover yet again but Savage gets the shoulder up at two. Raven goes to the top rope and mocks Savage by using his taunt prior to delivering the elbow drop. Raven then attempts a top rope elbow drop of his own but Savage rolls out of the way. As Raven is stunned and holding his arm Savage connects with a punching combination followed up with a scoop slam. Savage than climbs to the top turnbuckle as the crowd cheers. He does his signature taunt and delivers a stunning top rope elbow drop as only Randy Savage can. )

Gorilla: That’s all she wrote.

(The ref gets in position and begins counting 1 2 2 1/2 , 2 ¾ no Raven barely gets the shoulder up right before 3. Savage can’t believe it and is irate. He begins punching Raven in the face as the ref forces him to break at 5. Savage gets into a shoving match with the ref who pushes back as Savage walks straight into a second Even Flow DDT Raven barely gets his shoulder over Savage as the ref counts 1 2 3 Raven is victorious. )

Gorilla: I don’t believe this at all Raven has actually won this thing.

Bobby Heenan: I knew he could do it the kid’s got a lot of promise. I’d sign him to the Heenan family on the spot if I was still managing and didn’t become a broadcast journalist.

Howard Finkle: The Winner of this contest and advancing to the number 30 position in the Royal Rumble match Raven!!

(The crowd gives a bit of a mixed reaction as “Hate To Feel” begins playing. Neither Savage nor Raven has moved a muscle since Raven won the contest his arm is still draped over Savage. As emt’s and WWF officials begin checking on both men.)

Gorilla: I wonder if either of these gentleman will be in any condition to compete in The Royal Rumble later on.

Winner Via Pinfall: Raven

Gorilla Monson: Ladies and gentlemen we have just received word that WWF president Jack Tunney is standing by waiting to address the despicable comments of Hulk Hogan earlier this evening and the reprehensible actions of Big Daddy Tees during The Terry Funk Vs Tony Atlas match.

(We are once more transported to the locker room where Jack Tunney is standing minus an interviewer dressed in a light blue sport coat with a WWF logo in a gold color on the right breast, a pair of black dress pants which are barely noticeable and a white dress shirt with a WWF logo tie. )

Jack Tunney: Good evening ladies and gentleman… it is my unpleasant duty to inform you that Hulk Hogan has quit the WWF in a classless manner and will therefore not be taking part in the Royal Rumble match. I like the rest of you also observed Tony Atlas being cheated out of his opportunity to enter the Royal Rumble match and become WWF champion earlier this evening. Due to these events I am hereby permitting Tony Atlas to enter the Rumble match and take the place of the departing Hulk Hogan.

(Crowd cheers)

Jack Tunney: I wish everyone who is participating in The Royal Rumble match good luck and may the best man win.

(Without saying anything else we are back to Gorilla and The Brain.)

Gorilla: Excellent call on the part of our President.

Bobby Heenan: You’re such a brown noser. This is unfair I know it, you know it and all these humanoids know it. Atlas lost fair and square and was eliminated from The Rumble.

Gorilla: He got screwed Big Daddy Tees cheated and everyone saw it he held the guys foot on the outside of the ring.
Bobby Heenan: I didn’t see anything. All I saw was the man’s shoulders being pinned to the mat and the ref counting him out.

Gorilla: (Sigh) Let’s get on with the show you only see what you want to see and hear what you want to hear.

(Michael “P.S.” Hayes is currently in the ring doing the moonwalk and taunting the crowd as “Badstreet U.S.A.” continues playing.)

Howard Finkle: Ladies and gentleman the following contest is scheduled for one fall and will determine the number 29 position in the Royal Rumble match the loser will receive number 2 and will be at a huge disadvantage as they will be unable to have much of a rest after this contest. Currently in the ring from Badstreet, U.S.A in Atlanta Georgia he weighs in at 251lbs Michael “P.S.” Hayes.)

(The crowd boos as Hayes taunts and yells at them.)

Howard Finkle: And his opponent from Mt. Airy, Maryland, he weighs in at 190lbs Mighty Voovoo!!!!

(Dead Man’s Party by Oingo Boingo hits over the PA system, and Mighty Voovoo walks onto the stage, he struts down the ramp, dancing a little, having his motion match the rhythem of the trumpets when they are heard. He gets down to the ring, and takes off his white cape with the giant blue V and gives it to the ring hand. He hops onto the ring apron, and jumps over the top rope. He walks over to each corner of the ring, pointing to individuals in the audience, and giving them a thumbs up if they are giving any hints that they are fans of the 80’s too. Perhaps they are wearing an old Mario shirt, or an old Star Wars shirt, any 80’s referrence will make Mighty Voovoo smile. His music dies down and he stands in his corner of the ring.)

Bobby Heenan: This Mighty VooVoo sure is odd.

Gorilla Monson: But the fans love him.

Bobby Heenan: But the humanoids are weird as well so it figures they’d go for a guy like this.

(The Bell sounds. And Hayes goes on the attack hitting Voovoo with rights and lefts that seemingly have no effect. Voovoo just stands there. Hayes comes off with a lariat and again Voovoo just stands there. Voovoo nails a chop followed by a DDT Hayes appears stunned and Voovoo picks him up and nails a top rope belly to back suplex he follows it up by nailing the Flash back and finishes it up by connecting with an impactful Frog splash he goes for the cover and the ref counts 1 2 3. Mighty Voovoo has made short work of Michael “P.S.” Hayes. )

Gorilla: That’s gotta be a new record I’ve never seen Michael “P:S.” Hayes lose so quickly and decisively.

Bobby Heenan: Face it the guy just didn’t show up. His heart wasn’t in this match and he failed to bring his A game against this Voo Voo freak.

Howard Finkle: Here is your winner Mighty VooVoo.

Winner Via Pinfall: Mighty Voovoo.

Gorilla: It’s time… it’s time… it’s time for the Royal Rumble match I can’t wait to find out who our new champion is going to be.

Bobby Heenan: I know who it’s going to be.

Gorilla: Who is it then?

Bobby Heenan: The guy who outlasts 29 other competitors and wins The Royal Rumble.

Gorilla: You’re a moron.

Bobby Heenan: No I’m not I’m the Brain. The smartest person in the WWF.

Gorilla: What did I do to get stuck working with you?

(We travel to the ring as the crowd is going nuts at this point Howard Finkle is once more prepared to make the introductions.)

Howard Finkle: Ladies and Gentleman it is now time for The Royal Rumble match. Introducing the first two entrants the unfortunate souls who got stuck with number 1 and number 2 “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Michael “P.S.” Hayes.

(“Pomp and Circumstance” plays as Randy Savage steps out from behind the curtain to a thunderous round of cheers. He walks slowly down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans. He slides in the ring as he removes his hat, handing it to Miss Elizabeth. And awaits the arrival of Michael “P.S.” Hayes. Savage appears to be showing some of the effects of his earlier match with Raven.)

(Badstreet U.S.A. by Michael Hayes hits and Hayes makes his way out holding the back of his head. He has an angry expression on his face as he points at Macho Man. Hayes enters the ring and the bell sounds to kick off the rumble match.)

Gorilla: Should be one for the ages.

(A shot of the WWF championship belt in a display case is shown at ringside before traveling back to Hayes and Savage tying up. Hayes shoves Savage back into the corner and begins choking him. Savage reverses it and nails a punching combination followed by a monkey flip. Hayes grabs his back as Savage stomps away on him. Savage attempts to throw Hayes over the top rope but Hayes hangs on and nails Savage with an elbow to the face. Hayes follows up with a closeline and a DDT. He then tries to eliminate Savage but Savage manages to hang on. Hayes almost throws Savage over but Savage clings to the bottom of the apron. As Hayes closes in Elizabeth sprays a bottle of hairspray in Hayes eyes. Savage recovers and rams Hayes shoulder first into the ring post. Hayes is unable to see as Savage connects with the top rope elbow drop as the countdown timer begins.)

Gorilla: Almost time for the third entrant.

Bobby Heenan:
And we know who that is don’t we? Chico “The illegal immigrant” Santana.

Gorilla: Will you stop?

( Tito Santana limps out onto the stage as his music plays. Suddenly Terry Funk appears behind him brandishing a steel chair. Funk viciously assaults Santana with the chair really laying into his back. He repeatedly jams the chair into Santana’s ribs.)

Gorilla Monson: This is ridiculous Terry Funk has no business being out here now… it’s not his time to enter the rumble.

Bobby Heenan: Try telling him that the man does what he wants when he wants to whoever he wants to do it to.

(Funk foams at the mouth it seems as WWF officials finally get the chair away from him and force him to the back. Santana receives medical attention. This has taken up so much time that no one has noticed Randy Savage eliminate Michael “P.S” Hayes from The Royal Rumble. )

Howard Finkle: Michael “P.S” Hayes has been eliminated.

(The countdown timer begins again as Savage attempts to recover after eliminating Hayes.)

(The number fourth entrant is Papa Shango. Shango makes his way out as his music plays he looks as though he’s going through convulsions. He enters the ring and attacks Savage. He waste no time in trying to eliminate Savage who fights back and nails a series of rights and lefts. Savage nails a snake eyes on Shango and attempts to eliminate him after a knee lift into the corner but Shango kicks Savage low and head butts him in the groin area. Shango picks Savage up and nails the shoulder breaker. He attempts to eliminate Savage but Savage manages to hang on and comes back with a punching combination. He nails a top rope double axe handle on Shango and connects with a top rope elbow drop. He picks Shango up and is about to toss him over the top rope when the count down timer begins again.)
